Hoyts Royal Windsor 30 Chapel Street, Melbourne, VIC - 1926

This photo is taken from the Dandenong Road intersection, looking down Chapel Street towards the city.

The gathering is the funeral procession of Bill Plunkett in 1926 who was a fireman.

If you look up over the street you can see a view of the Royal Theatre building rising behind the shops. The projection booth is visible on the back wall.
