CM nice photo but not a good screen to see a movie in wide screen scope. They probably have no masking orcurtains and you will see a white screen on the top and bottom. The Super Screen signs on the right and left are a big distraction. These need to be outside the theatre so people can see from the stree. A good big screen if you watch a flat 1.85 movie these days. I hope they dont keep the ugly signs on when the movie is on.

terrywade: The screen is actually floating but fixed masking was added some time after opening as an Empire Cinemas “IMPACT” auditorium. The situation is actually worse in this photo as additional side masking was added for the reduced screen size needed for the HDR by Barco install, so the screen is too tall even for “flat” ratio.

The screen width was also reduced to under 50ft., albeit still large for the relatively shallow auditorium.

The very tacky “Superscreen” signs (backlit by unattractive cold white LED’s) are certainly not kept on during the main feature.
