Charleston Drive-In 2121 18th Street, Charleston, IL

Opened as the E-I Drive-In on May 1, 1953 with Piper Laurie in “Has Anybody Seen My Gal”. It had been renamed Charleston Drive-In by 1955.

It had closed by May 1983 when it was being dismantled. Entrance is now a floral shop. Looks like the field itself is a condominium complex.
