The circle foyer was fairly plain with subdued lighting provided by a series of white opal tubular glass fittings running the length between the two circle door entrances at ceiling level. Main decoration provided by the bronze balustrades at either top ends of staircases. The highlight undoubtedly was the Restaurant entrance areas which had been designed and completely screened off by three 10ft high bronze framed sections to prevent noise. The centre entrance section for the pair of doors while either side a glazed wall sections with fine flat bronze decoration applied.
