PHOTO - Entrance Hall: Patrons entered through a long, striking foyer that led from the street toward the auditorium, now in the final stages of demolition.
Gothic Revival Style: The foyer was characterized by a meticulous barrel-vaulted ceiling painted in a Gothic Revival style.
Grand Staircase: While the specific layout evolved over the building’s life (including its conversion to a TV studio for HSV 7), the theatre originally provided seating for over 2,200 people across two levels, with stairs leading from the main foyer to the Circle (balcony) level.
