Second-run theaters faded from the Columbus, Ohio area before the start of the pandemic. Personally, I was a big fan of seeing a movie at a very affordable price and it allowed me to see more movies because of the extension of the availability of viewing a film inside a theater. Many lower-income people, senior citizens, and individuals in group home settings have lost venues to get in a social setting that was economical and gave them a few hours of entertainment and relaxation.
