A ballroom was situated next to the restaurant on first floor, the photograph above was taken at opening showing the large sprung maple flooring with dais for orchestra at rear. Mollo again used nautical theme designs with abstract yachts on the recessed lit wall murals the ceiling being separated by heavy ridged coved uplighting, the main feature being the 6ft diameter floating sphere supporting a pair of linear chrome light fittings with white opal tubular glass. Ballroom perimeter fitted with carpet in the ‘Paris’ design and Lloyd Loom gold finished tables and chairs for 150.
