Jean Patou himself of Paris introduced a special perfume named ‘Normandie’ U.S. introduction 1935. A special perfume bottle was designed and held in the central funnel of a metal replica of the ‘Normandie’ see above picture, every lady that travelled on the maiden voyage to New York was to receive this special edition as a gift. Needless to say these first editions are extremely rare and exceeds all reserves when appearing at auction.
