1959 was about the year when the first special teaser ads were shown on television to promote at first, low-budget films like the Three Stooges films like “Have Rocket, Will Travel,” and “Stop, Look & Listen.” Also MGM had ads for “Gorgo”, “Village of the Damned,” and “The Time Machine.” Joseph E.
