On January 14, 2026, a heavy police presence took place at the AMC Marquis 16 after a fatal self-inflicted gunshot incident occurred at the parking lot of the AMC. The unidentified man was transported by fire department to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. Trumbull police officers confirmed that the incident was isolated.
