In this past Sundays ‘SF Chronicle’ newspaper pink entertainment section Aug 9 2026 they did a big story with photos of all the SF Bay Area movie theatres still showing 35mm/70mm films. On the cover they had the recently retired Stanford Theatre projectionist Phil Krikau in the projection booth at the Stanford.
