Many years ago the San Francisco and Oakland CA newspapers listed all the movie theatres from the SF Bay Area in their movie entertainment section. Here is a listing from the area around the Stanford Theatre. So many of these great old movie palaces are now gone. The Stanford still is open and showing 35mm films weekly.

I think this paper clip from my movie theatre newspaper collection was from 1958. So many theatres were showing CinemaScope then even the Drive In’s.
