Check out the Varsity Theatre and buy some coffee and a cookies or muffin now before they close the lobby store. Unless the former movie theatre sells or gets a new tenant It may be closed up for a long time? If they do close the building they will put a chain link fence out front like before. Hopefully if they turn the ‘Varsity’ back into a stage type place I don’t mind waiting to go in while they fix up the movie theatre space. Time for the jackhammers to come in and the rug, paint crew, demolish crew for the fake second floor along with the local ‘Dolby Digital Atmos’ stereo people plus some color light techs to add some showmanship to the old Varsity Theatre. If any of you read this and have company extra cash dot com tax right off needed funds Its time to find out what you need to do, locate the owners now please Thanks Terry.

If they ever re open as a theatre again It will need a ton of sound proofing inside as the rich old retire gang next door will always complain about the sound noise again like before. Their expensive hearing aids are turned too far up I think. Not too many loud street music people on University Ave in toney downtown Palo Alto to bother them like in Berkeley CA. Give them some free movie tickets next time to shut them up!
