The last film I saw at Perth’s Metro (formerly Queens Hall / Hoyts Regent) was GOODBYE, MR CHIPS in 1969.

These were the days when you could still buy souvenir programs (which I still have). The Metro was a fine Art Deco/Moderne theatre with a stylish entrance lobby. As MGM’s Perth flagship, it was always a joy to go there. Sadly, no more - Notes by Barry Strickland.
