Star Theatre 150 Florence Avenue, Wynnum, QLD

PHOTO - Wynnum Manly Historical Society Inc

The location was the Star Theatre, Florence Street Wynnum, opened on 5 September 1915. The Theatre was used for many activities, like children’s fancy dress balls and the popular Thursday night community singing.I would calculate the time as late 1930’s or early 1940’s - Perhaps there are some who recall the night and recognise themselves.
