St. James Theatre
Actual Friday 26 March 1926 photo (colorized) of the full house on opening night at the St James with “No No Nanette”. In a specially reserved section were the Governor-General and Lady Stonehaven along with the State Governor and Lady de Chair. Seated in side boxes were Sir Ben and John Fuller along with Hugh Ward who all spoke on stage after the show heaping praise on architect Henry (Harry) White (1876-1952) who had not only designed the building but also all interior fittings and color schemes.
