I believe this was the main entrance to the drive-in, as you can see the box office on the left side of the entrance.
this is not the main entrance to the drive -in. I believe this is from Quince and the main entrance was on Mission (you can still access Little TJ from here). The movies played until 1984 because I saw the movie (Prince’s) Purple Rain there and after that movie or another (during the 1984 Olympics) I remember the runner came down Quince with the torch. The runner was a local doctor whom I had worked for in the early 2000s. And I remember by 1985 it was already little TJ (Tijuana), a Mexican Flea Market. Just recently the screen was torn down. Sad real sad.
