Waterfountain and FIre Hose in Bexley
Still remaining from the old Bexley. The Bexley didn’t have Oak trim. The owners decorated and painted the front, but did leave the old water fountain (they painted the flower) though it no longer works. This area is actually to the right of the former concession stand (facing the side of the concession stand). To the left of the water fountain is the door that leads to the basement and a janitors closet. The stairwell was only about 2' wide and all concrete. It was totally creepy (and still is)! Freddy Kruger movies could be filmed there!. To the left of that door (to the basement) was the right entrance to the auditorium (face the basement door and do a “left-face” to enter the auditorium). To the right of the fire hose cabinet was the former entrance to the Women’s Restroom (face fire hose cabinet and make a “right-face”)
