I took several of these shots while at home in 2009. The former cinema continues to operate as a bingo hall. Underused with bingo in the evening and the odd game on selected afternoons.
Here the facade is stripped of it’s cinema decoration, neon lighting, neon Maxime sign and redograph. Looking very bare indeed.
The decorative neon lighting strips ran along the sides and the cinema name glowed, you could view it from Oakdale and Penmaen.
