Mission Revival Movie Theaters
A popular design, especially for many of Fox’s California theaters, during the 1920s and 1930s, Mission Revival borrowed its look from the myriad of Spanish colonial missions peppered throughout California. Spanish towers, stucco walls, and tiled roofs were often standard elements.
