The Ritz Theatre opened by 1933 and was listed as an African-American theatre. Seating was given at 548. The theatre closed in the mid-1960’s and has since been demolished.

They list the closing of this theater as being sometime during the mid 50’s but I vividly remember going to this theater as a small child during the mid 60’s and I was born in 1960.
