“FAMILY DRIVE-IN east of Kane, and the Circle Drive-in north of Scranton are the only drive-in movie theaters still in business on Pennsylvania’s Route 6. The screen opened as the Ideal Drive-in in 1952, changing its name to the Family Drive-in in 1957 when it was sold to Clifford Brown and F.R. Holmes, who ran it until 1983.”
