Early-March 1967, a Royal Gala Performance at the Royalty Theatre (then operated by Gala Film Distributors as their ‘flagship’ cinema). The film was “The Taming of the Shrew” which had recently been the Royal Film Performance 1967 attraction at the Odeon Leicester Square on 27th February 1967. At the Royalty Theatre it was attended by the Duke & Duchess of Kent.
