The RKO Orpheum Theater - 1964
Pictured is the front entryway of the RKO Orpheum Theater in 1964. Playing that week was the war drama “Back Door to Hell,” starring singer Jimmie Rodgers and a young, relatively unknown actor named Jack Nicholson.
Every Friday night, the RKO presented an encore feature film after the last show. On Saturday evening, the late feature started at 11 p.m.
