The theatre, which was formerly known as the Metro and before that the Sesqui, was renamed the Dendy in 1977. The theatre was demolished in 1983.

Metro was renamed Dendy in 1971. Current attraction here is Brian De Palma’s “Obsession” which would date this as 1977.
