Notes:Vintage Hammond.Com – The Wurlitzer console was located on a lift at the left-hand side of the orchestra pit. The (upright) piano was housed in a small chamber on the left-hand side of the proscenium. During the 1950s, the organ console was moved into the decorative box at circle level on the left-hand side of the theatre, a position which made it difficult for organists to hear a proper balance between the different chambers – Contributed by Greg Lynch –
