Maple City Drive-In. Kodachrome image taken by Albert S. “Al” Johnson in the fall of 1952. Family records show that this was the fifth Michigan drive-in built by Al’s Johnson Construction Company.
Using block and tackle (ropes and pulleys) and push poles, everyone pitches in to start raising the fourth truss.
