Photograph showing the large restaurant at the Regent. This early photograph displays a rather old fashioned interior with funereal pendant light fittings and surroundings. However, after the Gaumont takeover this was updated with new art deco style of fitments including the Gaumont ‘Insignature’ carpet manufactured by Templetons of Glasgow and lighting by F.H. Pride of London.
