This photograph was taken of the Granada in July 1967 during the brief time that the Granada fin was attached to the facade. Also note the Miss Candy shop whose front has been extended forward from the cinema, an unusual planning permission. The Miss Candy confectionery shops featured prominently during the 1960’s with Granada. The current film displayed was the comedy film “Rocket to the Moon” starring Burl Ives.
