The proscenium had two surrounds to emphasise the 45ft. wide proscenium opening. A wide gilded continuous ornamental grille adjoined a 145ft. concealed lighting arch, which could be illuminated in four various colours. There was seating for 1500 seats were finished in flame colour velvet installed by H. Lazarus & Son Ltd., London who also supplied and fitted a Wilton carpet of modern design of red, black, green and beige. Stage main front silk curtains and other stage draperies were of various shades of orange by Hall & Dixon, Garrick Street London.
