Tickets were 1/- (10c) each, with seating for 310 patrons (The Mail 3 May 1941, p3). It was open from 11am to 11pm each day, each session lasted 70 minutes and there was a change in program each Friday. But it wasn’t just war news that the patrons could watch. According to The Mail in May 1941, the dressmakers, fashion leaders and store executives of Adelaide were very much anticipating the chance to see the latest fashion shows from London or Hollywood.
