Photograph of the Carlton Architect John Freer. Freer was responsible for the re-designing of the New Carlton, he also was the Architect for the Ritz Cinema Brighouse, the Regent Cinema Bradford Road and Regal Cinema Moldgreen. Freer was also joint Director of the Regal Cinema Co., together with George Haigh, who built the Carlton and a series of other cinemas in and around Huddersfield.
