Photograph taken May 1929 of the auditorium, orchestra pit complete with raised Wurlitzer organ. The Safety curtain and splay walls with Renaissance scenes hand painted by Gaumont artist Frank Barnes. The colours must have been a wow, the whole of the Regent was designed in the Renaissance style.
