On main street, this structure does not exist anymore. I was a doorman, projectionist, theather carpeted stairs to the balcony.Projectors were carbon arc Simplex type. Two projectors. During the 50’s admission was 25 cents, watched the Bowery Boys,Rocky Lane westerns,Superman, and remember the most Gene Autry, after show I quicky ran home to catch the Gene Autry radio broadcast brought to you by Doublemint gum. Later I becme employed by Long Enterprise out of Safford Az. I believe the theatre was called Mauks before it was remodeled,Marquee was added,$50.00 nites on Wed.The film reels or buckets were delivered about 2 am morning’s before the next showing.
