Above was a regular advert for the Southampton Odeon Cafe-Restaurant which was very popular too for the general public and sadly closed in 1972 to become a third mini cinema, however, it held the distinction of being the very last Odeon Cafe-Restaurant to close. Possibly the reason was that it was leased to private caterers from Odeon. I visited for the last time several months before final closure and it was still very busy. Missed by the public more than any of their three cinemas………
