I used to managed this theatre. 1967 – 1969
While I was managing the Guild Theater I remember Mr Brando with his 10 year old Christian came to see the film “Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid.” Mr Bob Hope came to see the same movie. Ms ZaZa Gabor came with her daughter to see “Who Is Afraid of Virginia Wolf.” I also remember when we opened together the movies “Romeo & Juliet” also the movie “The Odd Couple” with Jack Lemon, so the marquee said “Romeo & Juliet” “The Odd Couple” … The Guild Theater had aprx 499 seats.
