With all those cars in the driveways, including the exit, but not in the theater, I’m guessing that this was an artist’s conception of the finished product. The original caption:

‘Cycloramic’ Screen - The new Belair Drive-In theater, scheduled to open Wednesday, Nov. 21, on Valley Blvd., west of Fontana, features a “cycloramic” curved screen, high as a 10-story building.
