Street view of the Ritz facade believed to be around 1954. The awning sign identifies it as a Hoyts theater – they never actually owned this venue, but operated it from late 1937 until 1962. Wires shown in the street are for trams which ran by the theater from the City to Coogee Beach until 1960. A newly routed light rail service now terminates near the cinema.
