Photograph of the Ritz cinema Harringay taken on opening day Monday 30th December 1935. To the left behind the young boy are shop units still unfinished. The corner entrance is in brick enhanced by Strenic stone banding, below is a new feature at the time of an illuminated display board recessed below the cinema name, which would stand out at night, enhanced by neon featuring on Ritz lettering and elsewhere on the rounded facade. Below, the entrance canopy replicates the current film showing, again in the same design as the main display above.
