The new 1 & 2 Film Centre was opened by The Trumpeters of the Royal Military School of Music at 6.45 p.m. The opening on Saturday June 13th 1970 was by invitation only. Top picture shows a cut-away impression of the lay out of the two new cinemas with ABC 1 on first floor. The bottom is an Architects drawing of the spacious auditorium of ABC 1.
