The last day of operation was August 22, 1985 showing PEE WEE’S BUG ADVENTURE. After completely emptying the building I handed the keys to the Chili’s restaurant folks. Tge theatre seats were donated to the BARTER THEATER in Abingdon, VA. THE Projection equipment was stored behind the screen at the STATE THEATRE and eventually scrapped. Fun times.
