I remember working here when the original “Dawn of the Dead” was showing. Myself and the other ushers would walk down the isles doing the “zombie walk” and on occasion make someone scream, setting off a chain reaction. Life was fun then.

My God I feel like I am re-living my childhood days here in Virginia Beach with our Ultravision Twins. Cineplex Odeon opened up their indoor Multiplex inside Pembroke Mall around 1989 and had the Twins tore down. To this day it still hurts seeing that they are gone. I loved the curved seating arrangement that complimented the structure of the buildings.
