1933 image & description credit Raymond Gustafson. “Rising singing and movie star Gene Autry appearing in concert at the Ironwood Theater in 1933. He played in Ironwood 3 times in his career. He came back in 1954 and played at the LLW gym and stayed at the St. James Hotel and again in 1958 playing at the Gogebic County Fair and staying at the Cloverland Motel.”
