Cover of the rare Souvenir Programme of the opening night of London Rhapsody on 1st September 1937. The cover picture is taken from the famous painting of the auditorium by Laura Knight which now hangs in one of the bars within the theatre. When I worked there in the 1960’s this painting hung at the top of the marble stairway which led to the circle.
