Programme of the opening of the Paris cinema Regent Street on 20th April 1939. Architects were Robert Cromie & Partner William Casse and construction by H Lane & Son, Mollo & Egan were the interior designers and Marion Dorn designed the screen curtains. Ionlite fitted the featured white neon lighting which ran from the entrance and along the entrance foyer. Ionlite a few years earlier had installed the exterior neon for Studios one and Two in Oxford Street. Clements Brothers provided the external display frames. The approaching war brought to an end a Golden Age of cinema building and six months later Mollo & Egan completed their final cinema interior the Embassy Bridgend opening on 30th October 1939.
