With It’s brand new laser DCP projectors in place along with 3 projector Cinerama® projectors along with 35mm & 70mm film machines they can show almost everything on film or DCP. Thank God they did not put in Dolby® Atmos speakers and wreck the Dome gold ceiling! The ceiling at the Disney/Pacific El Capitain Theatre is a mess with all he Atmos® speakers hanging around. You can see back wall surround speakers in this photo. I always liked the ones they had hidden at the Dome behind the side and back wall drapes. It was great to hear them and not see them. The drapes to me did not hide the crisp sound they put out when they came on like magic. I don’t like these new ones with no grill on them. They stand out too much.

If you sit in he last few rows under the booth you will not hear any stereo surround sounds coming from any speakers. There are no separate speakers in the back lower area like at the Seattle Cinerama has.
