The ornate ceiling of the Egyptian is just about all that remains of the original interior décor. Fortunately now with the new balcony at least one can get a pretty close look at it.

To bad they don’t light It up with color LED lights. No curtains just a blank white screen greets you. No showmanship left at this place these days.
Could be so dramatic with that ornate ceiling. A detailed mural certain would help return the glamour. What are designers thinking these days. Nothing! It is Egyptian after all.
