This rare 1950s home processed Ferraniacolor photograph was taken from near the Norwood Star Theatre (q.v.). It shows the projection room or ‘bio box’ of the large upper hall clinging precariously to its rear wall behind the clock tower. The theatre opened on Saturday nights only as an alternative to the Star a couple of hundred metres away.
