Space Behind Movie Screen

When this UA Twin Cinema opened many years ago It had 35mm/70mm projectors in the projection booth. They have been long gone. Now all digital projection. I don’t think they ever played a 70mm movie here at the former twin cinema in Santa Cruz. The UA Twin even had THX sound. You can see in this back of screen photo It had good sound proofing behind the movie screen area. The UA Riverfront was built new as a twin cinema not a single theatre split down the middle to make two small auditoriums. There was no sound leakage.
