This theatre was opened on January 12, 1928 By George Fischer whose fledgling circuit had the Allis and Capitol. It launched with “Becky” but the star was Milwaukee architects Gustav Dick and Alex Bauer’s $1,000,000 theatre including the Italian Renaissance look (their description) including moving cloud “airdome” and Italian garden for a beautiful atmospheric look
